Hendrina is a dynamic and results-oriented leader. She possesses excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, the ability to influence decisions, and to develop positive relationships internally and externally. Her internal and national exposure has given Hendrina an opportunity to deepen her understanding of the political, economic social and cultural environment in which the social sector reform process operates at various levels globally. She enjoys being part of, as well as managing, motivating, training and developing, a successful and productive team. She thrives in highly pressurised and challenging working environments.

Hendrina Doroba has over 30 years of work experience. She is a leader and team player and has successfully managed various teams during her varied portfolios as programme manager and coordinator at both regional and national level, teacher trainer and school teacher.

Hendrina has been at FAWE since July 2007. She has meritoriously coordinated regional programmes across the 33 sub-Saharan African countries where FAWE has a presence. Her area of expertise include design and development of gender responsive programmes, training of trainers on FAWE’s gender responsive models, project coordination, monitoring and evaluations, policy analysis and advocacy She is well experienced in strategic planning has coordinated and developed strategic plans, annual work programmes and reports. She has excellent networking and skills for nurturing partnerships; she has supported and strengthened links between FAWE NCs, various Ministries of Education, funding partners and other civil society.
